The Tendril of Death is an enemy that appears in the Corruption biome after beating Plantera.

Behaviour[]
The Tendril of Death will hide in the ground the Corruption Biome, and will poke it's head out when a player is within 5 tiles of it. When the player steps over the tile that it is hiding in, it will shoot out dealing damage. When the player isn't in melee distance, the Tendril of Death will fire Dark Blasts in the player's direction

- It can only be damaged by attacking the head.
