The Granite Burrower is a pre-hardmode worm enemy found in the Granite Biome. It is a small yet long worm that burrows through blocks. It usually spawns in the largest bunch of blocks it can spawn in, and if there is not a large enough pack of blocks around then it will spawn off-screen. It makes a noise that gets louder and louder the closer it gets, much like other worms. It also leaves behind a faint particle effect by its tail if it's in a block.
The body segments can have two different sprites, alternating between each one.
The Blue Rock Burrower replaces this enemy in Hardmode entirely, and that is the reason why they both share the banner and kill count.

The Granite Burrower consists of 7 - 9 body segments, and is much larger than the one in the preview image. Like some other worms, the head does the most damage.
