Glaciursa is a pre-hardmode boss that can be found in the snow biome. It naturally spawns in the snow biome if undefeated. Unlike other naturally spawning boss, this boss doesn't spawn randomly, it always spawns naturally on the snow biome. Because of this, further explorations to further biomes are blocked unless if defeated.
Appearance[]
Glaciursa appears to be a large polar bear with a spiky shoulder armor on one shoulder.
Behavior[]
Unlike other bosses, this boss can't phase through walls. On normal mode, its attacks are only ramming and punching the player. While on expert mode, this boss throws snowballs at the player, making it a bit more challenging battle.

- It's jungle and dessert counterparts are the Monkey Kong and the Sand Tunneler .
- It has the most damage among them while the Monkey Kong has the most defense and the Sand Tunneler has the most HP.
- It also has the least health among them.
- Defeating these three bosses allows the Explorer NPC to visit your town, similar to the Travelling Merchant. It sells explorer's items( e.g. hooks, ropes, etc.).
