The Earthen Hook is a War Mode grappling hook that can only be obtained by opening the Igneothorn Treasure Bag, dropped by Igneothorn in the second fourth of the Hellish Dungeon while the world is in Expert Mode. This hook, while having a far reach, will also create a rock-like root system that spreads out in both directions from where the hook latches on to. These roots will raise stony spikes from the ground that damage any enemies that walk on them.
