Eternal Overseer exists, makes the archangels, Minos, and the Reaper of Minds, alongside life, he’s evil, he tricks people into thinking he’s a truly omnipotent god, Minos creates Vilicuses after threat of rebellion from humanity, to protect the holy beings, since they aren’t immortal, Lich king takes over world, he uses magic soul power woah, Gabriel (an arch-angel) doesn’t like that, Gabriel beats him up, breaks his soul, and traps him in his own mind (a fortunate accident), soul magic from lich king so strong it creates elemental crystals, Gabriel makes guardians for crystals, Lich king’s body is put in frozen tomb, cold = worse soul magic, they all die and become frozen goobers, player exists, player beating up cosmic level beings and disrupting the embodiment of balance, gabriel beat player up, except he get beat up, Minos curses him into being the apostate of contradiction, apostates are corrupt arch-angels, gabriel not happy, also now that gabriel is gone, the elemental crystals are re-generating due to no protection against it, the elementals live inside the crystals still, grrrrrrr apostates in abysmal pit and grrrr bad so player beat up, then why not beat gabriel up again while they’re at it, now gabriel either die or don’t die because he realized something that makes him decide not to die, player and gabriel beat up god, he kill himself, end
In the enchanting realm of Eldoria, there lived a peculiar and simple creature named Gork. With his vibrant green head, perpetually bloodshot eyes, and a demeanor that made him seem like he was in a perpetual state of bliss, Gork was known for his undeniable stupidity. He possessed no teeth, nose, or ears, yet he miraculously retained all his senses. Gork was an unlikely candidate for anything grand, but fate had something extraordinary in store for him.
High above the celestial plane of Eldoria, the divine deity known as Warflebogger, the embodiment of wisdom and power, observed the creatures of his realm. Among them, only Gork remained steadfastly faithful, despite his limited intellect. Impressed by Gork's unwavering devotion, Warflebogger chose him to be his prophet.
One fateful day, Warflebogger descended upon the humble abode of Gork, bathed in a radiant glow. Gork, with a dumbfounded expression on his face, stared up at the divine presence before him.
"Gork," Warflebogger's voice boomed, resonating with both power and compassion, "I have chosen you to be my prophet, the voice through which I shall guide the creatures of Eldoria."
Gork, though unable to comprehend the magnitude of the honor bestowed upon him, nodded enthusiastically. "Uh-huh... So, like, what's a prophet?"
Warflebogger chuckled, his voice like a gentle breeze. "As my prophet, Gork, you shall be the conduit of my divine will. I will gift you with extraordinary powers, and you shall guide the inhabitants of Eldoria towards righteousness."
A surge of celestial energy coursed through Gork's being, transforming him in an instant. His telepathically connected hands pulsated with newfound power, and his senses became even more acute, enabling him to perceive the world with an unparalleled clarity.
As Gork began to embrace his newfound abilities, a sinister presence emerged from the shadows. Stalker, a malevolent and cunning adversary, was a grey-skinned version of Gork. His eyes glowed with a deep crimson hue, his hands replaced by telepathic feet that granted him unmatched dexterity. Stalker harbored a deep-seated animosity towards Warflebogger for reasons known only to himself.
Stalker, his voice dripping with malice, approached Gork. "Ah, Gork, the bumbling fool chosen by Warflebogger. Your pitiful existence as a prophet will end swiftly under my hand."
Gork, though perplexed by Stalker's hostility, stood tall, his newfound wisdom shining through. "Stalker, why do you harbor such hatred? Embrace the light of Warflebogger, and together we can forge a better future."
Stalker sneered, his contemptuous gaze fixed upon Gork. "I have my reasons, Gork. But your feeble attempts at redemption will not save you. I shall tear down your newfound status and bring chaos to Eldoria."
As the two clashed, their abilities and wits tested, another entity stirred. Cold Gork, an icy-blue version of Gork from a dimension shrouded in eternal frost, was summoned by Stalker to assist in his battle against Gork. Cold Gork, a creature who had never seen the warmth of a sun or felt the touch of a gentle breeze, was filled with bitterness and longing.
Gork, sensing the torment within Cold Gork, approached him with empathy. "Cold Gork, I understand your pain, your longing for something beyond the frozen darkness. But there is another way. Join me, and together we can bring warmth and light to your existence."
Cold Gork, torn between the desolation of his own dimension and the glimmer of hope Gork offered, hesitated. It was then that another deity, Grim, the giant bat with void-like eyes and the god of Cold Gork's frozen universe, appeared. Grim sought to close the rift in the fabric of time and space that had allowed Cold Gork to enter Eldoria.
Greg the Egg, a devious being steeped in pure evil and an ally of Stalker, appeared beside Grim. With his manipulative ways, Greg the Egg attempted to sway Grim towards their cause, to maintain the chaos unleashed by Stalker.
But Gork, guided by his connection with Warflebogger, stood firm, his voice filled with conviction. "Grim, let us seal the rift and restore balance to our realms. Together, we can put an end to the suffering caused by chaos and darkness."
Moved by Gork's unwavering faith and the sincerity in his plea, Grim nodded solemnly. "I shall close the rift, Gork. May your light guide both realms towards harmony."
As Grim used his immense power to seal the rift, the influence of chaos waned, and the realms began to stabilize. Cold Gork, touched by Gork's compassion and the hope he represented, made a choice. He turned against Stalker, no longer willing to embrace the darkness that had consumed him for so long.
In a climactic showdown, Gork, Trotter, and Cold Gork faced Stalker and Greg the Egg. Gork's wisdom, combined with Trotter's agility and Cold Gork's icy powers, proved to be an unstoppable force against Stalker's cunning.
With each strike, Gork's divine powers surged through his telepathically connected hands, channeling the wisdom and guidance of Warflebogger. Together, they defeated Stalker and banished Greg the Egg, restoring peace and order to Eldoria.
In the aftermath, Gork stood as a beacon of hope, his role as Warflebogger's prophet solidified. Eldoria basked in the warmth of Gork's wisdom, his simple nature bridging the gap between divine power and mortal understanding. From that day forward, Gork continued to guide the inhabitants of Eldoria, imparting the wisdom and compassion granted to him by the benevolent god.
And so, the legend of Gork, the unlikely prophet bestowed with divine powers by Warflebogger, would be forever etched in the annals of Eldoria, serving as a testament to the fact that even the most seemingly insignificant creatures can bring about great change when chosen by the divine.
Hi! It's me again, Mythweaver, and since I found out about this storyboard place, I wanted to write my own fic based on my new project, AbyssMode. As of now, this project is unnamed, and well, I hope it's good. If you have any comments or criticisms, it would be nice for someone to point out what I did wrong.
Chapter One: The Beginning and the End
"AAARGH!" My shining blade went cathunk into the Moon Lord's eye. Gooey blue stuff dripped off the point were to blade met the eye. I looked down at my blade, Zenith, and smiled. I'd done it. Then I remembered all the people I'd lost along the way. Andrew, my guide to this strange world. Clara, the nurse, and one of my best friends. Lex, my ranger, died in the fight with the lunatic cultist.... The things I had to sacrifice to get to this moment... were they really worth it?
No. You can't think like that, Terra, I thought. I shook my head and let go of my blade just as the Moon Lord's corpse fell to the ground. I spread out my solar wings and glided down to my home. Floating above it was a giant arena where I had trained and fought incursions for the last year. I spun a bit then dived towards the moon lord as his body became part of the land in a blinding flash of light. Zenith still in hand, I touched the ground nimbly and picked up his treasures. "Hmm..." I said, wondering. On the ground in front of me were three items, A crystal, a yoyo, and some sort of weird gun, as well as a large chunk of cash. I picked up the yoyo and the gun, thinking the yoyo would do well to protect me long-range, and that since Lex was dead, nobody would need the gun. The fact that that was true saddened me, and as I pocketed those items I looked at the crystal.
It looked sort of... magic-y. Tess would want this, I thought to myself. Maybe she could use this crystal to do some sort of reviving spell to bring back our frie- no. I refused to finish that thought, I refused to even hope. I looked around, at the corruption around me, then at the moon lord's body, witch had become part of the land like a gigantic bone mountain. I started to head home.
A story based on Ephelum and the Drowned Terrarian’s lore.

CH. 1: Rumors.
”Hey! You! Minion! You over there! I wanna tell you about something!”
Player, who was fishing at the ocean doing a few quests for the ever so annoying Angler to pass time, turned around and stared at the kid, confused. “First off, have you got that fish yet?! It’s literally almost…” he looked at the sky “It’s almost night! You better hurry up or I’ll use you as bait so I can get it myself!” Player reeled in their rod, sighing and walking towards the Angler. They handed the kid the strange looking small shark fish before turning back around to walk away. “-HEY! DONT GO YET! I WANTED TO SAY SOMETHING DIDNT I?!” They spun around once more, facing the Angler with an.. Aggravated expression. “So. Listen, that pirate dudes been telling me of some drowned adventurer who lurks around the shore at night and grabs peoples ankles and…” He paused for a moment “AND DRAGS THEM INTO THE WATER TO DROWN TOOOOO!” He swung his arms up and around, attempting to be scary and intimidating, but it really just looked like he was having a stroke or something. “Anyways. I just think it’s just a fish- a really cool one- and NOT some ‘ooooooh drowned spooky ghost’. So I’m gonna use you as bait so I can get it myself!’ He smiled smugly “OOOOooooorrrrrr, you can go get it for me, my greatest fish gathering helper minion.” Player thought about this for a moment. Drowned… ghost thing. Hadn’t the Archivist mentioned something about that winged shadowflame spirit and his drowned companion?… Player thought about it, and ended up agreeing to help the Angler find this ‘fish’. Of course they weren’t going to catch it and bring it back. They were going to defeat it, and not have anyone else’s ankles grabbed and dragged into the ocean. (In all honesty, though, Player just wanted the loot.) Player turned around and walked back to the shore, casting their fishing rod and keeping the eye on the Angler, just to make sure he left before they actually started fighting the spirit. Once he left, and the sun was down, Player had their diving gear equipped, sword, bow, gun, whatever they needed, packed. They had proper armor on and were ready to fight whatever came in their way. They stepped back, taking a deep breath before running and jumping straight into the sea.
The world of Terraria was now unrecongizible to the fabled Champion.
The Corruption, Crimson, Hallow, and Confection had been purged via technology shortly after the Champion had defeated the Phantom in battle. The Underworld's tales were heard of, and many of the above-ground peoples flooded down into Hel to begin rebuilding what had once been a great civilization. The Goblins were eventually discovered on their home islands, and they were granted gifts of technology by the main-landers, including humans.
But today, the most important advancement in all of Terraria's history would occur. A event which would leave Terraria changed.
A Terrarian spacecraft was going to land on the Moon.
The crew consisted of a human, a goblin, a demon, and a dryad, the last one alive. Together, they would be the first individuals from Terraria to land on another celesital body.
The Phantom was recongizied as the creator of the Universe, and sometimes the Phantom would descend. However, the Phantom's defeat by the Champion showed him a whole new way to manage the universe.
The Phantom would descend, and be friendly to the natives of his universe. The Phantom now had friends.
The Phantom was happy for he had a universe of friends. Terraria was happy because of it's peace.
Terraria had gotten it's happily ever after it was wishing for. And it would stay that way for a long time.
'Yes, it is. It's been too long since you've been awake. Come on, get up. I've built some shelther already, for your and my safety."
Ah, yes, Andrew. Or, as some people may call him, The Guide. He's been a good friend of mine since even before the 5-Year Rebellion. Of course, that rebellion fell through.
"So, how long have I been in a comatose state?", I proceeded to ask.
"5 years."
"Anything major happen?"
"Not really. The lords still rule Terraria. Your personal blade was destroyed."
"Well, do you have anything I could use for now?"
"Well, barely. Here's all I can afford to give you for now,"
He proceeded to give me a Wooden Sword, a Copper Pickaxe, and a Copper Axe.
"I understand, Andrew. So, got any ideas as to what to do right now?"
"Well, if you wish to even stand a chance aganist the lords, it's kind of obvious you may want to go on a trip underground. Find some armor, find some weapons, you get the deal."
"Alright, I'll be back. Don't open the doors for the zombies!"
So, I had to find a cave entrance. Maybe I could find something useful in the meanwhile.
Almost instantly, in a small surface cave, I found a chest. Within it were some Recall Potions and a few Healing Potions.
What are Recall Potions exactly? Well, they are just potions that teleport you to whatever you consider home upon drinking it. I don't think I need to explain healing potions.
The Wooden Sword I was given soon came in handy, as a slime decided to ambush me. It wasn't a tough fight, and I got some of the slime's gel, which is very flammable.
Then, again, another chest was found in a small cave. This time, someone had dumped their rusting armor inside, and it had aged. Well, this aged armor would work for now.
The tendrils of the creature's tentacles throbbed in rage, this new deity was making it look like a fool. Lunging, the creature of the sea sliced the piercing blue eyes of the new challenger in a swift magical motion, too fast for a mortal's eye to detect, resulting in a virus-like blue goo pouring out from the opening. The goo dissolved in a opalesent flame, screaming as a mind of its own. The Moon Deity creature was not fazed upon the demonic liquidfaction of one of its eyes, but only called upon the rays of the Moon, and destroyed the tendrills of the Deity, leaving in it a heap. With one quick motion, the already burning light of the moon became solid, and pierced furiously through the heart of the creature. A terrible inhuman scream echoed throughout the galaxy, as the creature dissovled in a screaming flame. All that was left was for this new god, The Moon Lord, to take over the remaining existants of the land, and obliterate the pathetic mortals left. But one spark of the soul of the creature remained, oblivious to the Moon Lord. It sacrificed its power to bring a hero into the world, that just might triumph over the corruption that would soon appear.
So, this was transferred from my blog as I just found out about the Story board (lol), so, I copy and pasted it all here. If you doubt that, you can find it on my blog section.
So, very bored, nothing much to do but sprite and make pages, but my ideas are sort of burnt out. Then I found out Brick Creeper made his own Terraria story. So I guess Im gonna try one out. Lol. I never exactly done something like this. So, expect mistakes. Also, I may make it realistic, different from the game just for the story, and add things that might not even be in Terraria.
Welp. Lets begin.
Chapter 1 - Terraria
A large amount water splashes over my body, soaking into my clothes. I feel dirt sliding off from my face. I struggle to open my eyelids, only to be hit with another splash of water. This one was enough to get me feel awake, a bit too awake. I flail around, and felt my arm hit something. A sharp "Ow!" quickly follows. I rub my face to get rid of the excess water and dirt. My eyes adjust to the brighter light to find a man looking at his finger. "You hit my finger a bit too hard.." He wore a dull green shirt and dull blue pants. "Who are you?" we both say in unison. "Me first," the man says, "I'm Andrew. Now whats yours?". I'm all of a sudden stumped. I don't exactly remember anything. I scramble through my memory, but to no avail. "I.... don't know. But where am I?" I look at my surroundings, grass, bunnies, and this huge tree that seems to extend far up. "You don't know your name? Strange. Maybe we should give you one, or rather, you give yourself one." A name... A name, a name, a name.. Maybe I should be Andrew. "What about Andrew?" I get a slap in the face. "Very funny." he mutters. I think a bit harder.. I need a good name.. Maybe Tyro. "What about Tyro?" I raise up my hands, protecting my face from another slap, but one never comes. He chuckles. "You sure you'd like to be named Tyro?" almost sort of mocking. I felt my mind is set. A firm "Yes" I exclaim. "Well then, it is your name and thats what it will be forever." What is he even talking about? I thought. "Come on, we gotta go." He tugs my hand, pulling me up, but a sharp pain sprouts from my ankle, and my face crunches with squeals of pain. "What happened?" "My ankle.." "Sprained huh.." He slowly puts me down. "Alright then, use these. They are makeshift crutches." He hands two T-shaped pieces of wood. I sort of knew how to use it. "Follow me, and be careful down this hill." Before I start down, I look to see the sun setting above a strange land, glowing an eerie, blood red color. "What is that?" I say nervously. He looks at me and then at the direction I'm looking at, and then back at me. "You'll know, but for now, come along, you gotta heal first." I guess he's right. "Oh and by the way," he says as he looks at me, "Welcome to Terraria."
Chapter 2 - The Night
Close we are to the large tree, but its nighttime, and I don't exactly like nighttime. It gets cold, and it gets dark. "Looks like I'll be needing this." Andrew says, taking out a stick, and splats a sticky substance on the top and blows on it, and the substance turns into fire. "How on Terraria is that possible?" I say in disbelief. "Science, or in Terraria's case, magic."
I was unable to see it back at the hill, but the tree has a door. "Why is the tree bigger than the others?" I question. "No one knows, what we know is that it was called The Living Tree and its large." he says as he opens the door. "Now come on in." I go inside in the trunk, which was cozy warm compared to the frigid cold. "Well, since you can't really jump up here, I might as well bring what I need." Andrew says, and then jumps up the platforms up to a room. Soon after, he's back with some weird lantern with a heart inside it. "How can a lantern help with a sprained ankle...?" I say doubtfully. "Just watch." He hangs the lantern over my ankle, and for a bit, nothing happens. Then, the heart emits this red energy, which surges into my ankle. The ankle is starting to feel better. "Woah...." Forget the torch, this is amazing. "It's a heart lantern, found one of these in a chest. I let go of my crutches, and stand up, I feel good as new. "Yes! This is amazing!" "Sure is.." I jump up on those platforms into that room Andrew went in, thinking it would have been something cool like a laboratory, but only to find a standard treehouse. "Is this really your place!?" I yell down at Andrew. "Sure is!" as he jumps up to me. "There's not much to see around here, just well, furniture." The house was wooden, had a table, a bench, some oven thing, an anvil, and two chests. My interest is focused on the oven thing. "What's this?" Andrew gave a heavily disappointed sigh.. "It's a furnace.."
"So where do I sleep?" I ask him, as there are no beds anywhere, or anything comfortable. "Thing is, I don't have a bed, just those leaves." I suddenly wanted to explode. "No beds!? I'd rather break my ankle again! Why no beds!?" "Do you know how tough it is to get the bed?" Andrew yelled. "I need like three stations to even start making one! And the silk, I need cobwebs, but there are some iron-skin spiders out there!" My brain wanted to implode over the thought he cannot kill a small spider. "A spider? A spider!? A SPIDER!? You cannot kill a meager little bug!?" He gives a mischevious smirk, "Heh.. meager." He walks toward his chest and opens it. He grabs out a black spherical figure. "Meager little bug eh!?" He spins the thing until I see a spider's face, with fangs and the eyes. I just wanted to vomit instead of explode. He throws it at me, missing and accidently breaks his glass window. I hear a faint splat from the ground. I felt I lost the argument. "Just get me the leaf 'pillow'." Andrew sighs a long sigh, and jumps up to a higher platform, probably where the leaves are. Seconds later, he has a lot of them. "Here.." as he throws them on the ground. "Than-" suddenly Andrew cuts me off, "DUCK!" and my ears register a monsterous noise behind me. I turn instead of ducking, and where the window was, I see a floating eye, dilated pupils. All of a sudden, I felt I remember something. Those eyes, seem to awaken a memory I never knew about. But the only thing I can salvage from the quickly fading moment are... glowing green eyes.. I hear the sharp yell of Andrew, "DUCK!", breaking my trance in time as the eye starts to charge at me. I duck down, missing the eye as Andrew throws a small knife at the creature, right in the pupil. The thing makes sounds, or much like screams of pain as it is thrusted out the window and to the ground with another splat.
"You okay?" I heard him say that, but I acted as if I never did. I entered another trance, digging through the memory, finding out what the green eye meant to me. It didn't look cartoonish, it didn't look fake, it looked realistic. I'm out of my memories again as Andrew says another "You okay?". I say in an unsure and weak voice, "Yeah.." My vision starts to tunnel, the edges of my vision turn dark as I slowly go blind and slip out of consciousness.
Chapter 3 - Blobs
The sunlight of the rising sun pierces my eyes, replacing the darkness with a dark red color. My head is on a stack of leaves. I open my eyes, briefly blinded by the rays of sunlight, but soon adjust. The sunlight is coming from small holes in where the window used to be, now patched with wood. Andrew, well looks like he's sleeping near that anvil. One of chests seem to have a sword extending of it. Maybe I should take it.. I thought. Slowly, with minimal wood creaking and leaf crunching, I stand up and walk towards the chest. I slowly open the chest and grab the sword. In the chest, I also find another sword, a pickaxe, and an axe. I grab the pickaxe and the axe. I felt I needed them. Instead of jumping down, I slowly climb down, holding on to the wooden platforms. I get to the ground and open the door.
A cool breeze whooshes around my body. Such a beautiful day it is now. I walk around the tree and stumble across the splattered remains of the spider head and the creepy eye. I notice a glossy, shiny sheet next to the eye. It was circular, and extended out in the center, almost like a dome, but flatter. I take a closer look, taking it close to my eye which when I looked through it, made my vision look cleared. "Must be an eye lens." I say intriguingly.
Near the Living Tree is a small area with smaller trees. I figured I might as well get wood in case I need to build a house myself. I hack at the tree with the axe, enough that it starts to creak and fall down. I gather the wood, and notice acorns that fell on the ground and near the leaves. Perhaps I can use them to plant new ones, so I dig small holes and placed the acorns in them.
After I place my last acorn, a weird, splash-like noise comes from behind. I turn around, ready for almost everything, and behind me, was a green blob. It made me think of that sticky substance that Andrew used for the torch. Now that I think of it, it is the substance! I get my sword ready, able to kill this slime, I swing at it, and it jumps to dodge. I take another swing, it dodges, and then again and then again. It must make me look like a ballerina twirling a ribbon around. I take another swing, which this time, hits the slime as the slime seemingly becomes two small blobs from being sliced. The blobs land, and lay there, no sign it might recollect and become "alive". I pick up the sticky substance. It felt too squishy for comfort. "Euhhh!" I lightly squeal. I hear another squishy sound behind me. It's another slime, but blue. This was no worse at dodging than the other slime, in fact it was better. Dodging before my every move. I swing another time, but it jumps again, this time on my head. It then seemingly melts on my head. It slides down my hair, down to my chin. It's starting to encase my head, and I suddenly feel the need to breathe. I feel it sucking the air through my head. I start flailing and screaming, hoping Andrew would come, or anybody, but my screams are probably muffled from the slime. I shake my head violently, and it seems like it's starting to lose grasp. I feel pockets of air coming in as I shake more. I use my hands to sort of pull it out, pulling out parts of the slime. I try to scratch real hard on my head, which splatters more slime around me. The slime seems to have lost too much, since it loosens its grasp and falls off. It survives on the ground for a moment, before melting into a puddle of goo. "Looks like you have much to learn Tyro." I hear Andrew. I turn to where his voice came from, Andrew had that other sword from the chest. "What was that thing?" "Slimes. They are common, but dangerous when you're not prepared. The substance is called gel. It has some property that causes it to go aflame if you blow on it a certain way." I remember how he blew it, a subtle breath with his mouth in the shape of a small circle. "I think you got to swim a bit in that lake, the goo makes you look disgusting."
The water was as warm as it was when I was outside of water, just right. The water carries the gel from the body, mixing into swirls of green water. It didn't help much with my body feeling slighty slippery. I walk out the water, dripping. "They can be scary if they get you the right way." Andrew explained. "They can even suck the water out of you, but they rather suck air. Some who do suck the water even clean Demon Eyes dry of fluid." Demon eyes.... "Was that eye thing last night a demon eye?" "Yes it was Tyro, and they are dangerous."
Chapter 4 - Under a Red Moon
We walk towards the living tree, having a small conversation. "By the way, why did you laugh when I said I want to be called Tyro?" Andrew gives another smirk. "Because.. Tyro means beginner, or novice." He is starting to laugh, but I am starting to get slightly upset. "Shut up. You know what, call me Steven.." "You remember what I said, 'Well then, it is your name and thats what it will be forever.'?" I remember that as clear as the lens, he did say that. Hey, the lens. "Do you know what this lens is for?" I say as I pull out the clear, soft lens. He examines it, then looks at me. "Impressive, that's a lens, which you know. They can be used for you know, glasses. Just that, although it can be used for something else." "Like what?" "Something relating to Demon Eyes. Supposedly, a bigger version of those things exist, and it is a common rumor that the lens are related to that thing. They call it the Eye of Cthulu." Cthulu..... That word seems to echo in my mind. I suddenly remember that red land. "That red land over there we saw at the hill, what was that?" He suddenly gives a serious look. "It's a dangerous place. You shouldn't really go there." I make a "go on" gesture. "They call it The Crimson. Nobody exactly knows why it exists, what we do know is that it doesn't go well with Corruption, something else that thrives miles away, and I emphasize that, many miles away."
The sun is setting once again, the sky is going orange. "Sun is setting again, seems so quick." I say to him. Andrew doesn't look exactly that good a moment ago. "What's wrong?" I ask. "It's the sky. Look at the sky." I look at the sky, just orange. "It's just the regular orange during sunset." Andrew gives a scared look. "That isn't regular, the orange is too.... vibrant to be normal." "What are you even saying?" I ask, starting to get a bit scared too. Andrew looks at the opposite direction of the sun, and gasps. "Look there!" I look at where he's pointing, and the moon was rising in a orange color. "But what's wrong it's just how it is when it ri-" before I could finish, the moon's color suddenly transitions from an orange to a blood red hue. "I knew it... A blood moon.." Andrew says dreadfully. "Come with me! Hurry!" Andrew tugs on my arm, pulling me towards the Living Tree. "Nothing good occurs in a blood moon!" The moon was starting to turn from a tint to a vibrant blood red color. The last rays of sunlight fade into the horizon, with the only light being the blood moon casting a red theme all over the land. I can see red liquid, blood? No, it's water. All around me, demon eyes seem to appear out of no where, seeming searching like an eagle for things to murder. The ground starts to go alive with holes opening for green monsters that look like people.... Zombies. "This isn't good!" Andrew yells at me. "We got to prepare in the event of a siege!" We approach the door, and go in, closing the door. "Try to keep the door closed! Zombies are strong these times!" Andrew yells as he goes up to get materials. I feel the banging on the door, powerful, even for a living dead creature. Andrew is back with wood as he dumps it in front of the door. "That should be enough, for now. Come up with me." He jumps up towards his room, and I quickly follow him up. He opens his second chest, and pulls out two sets of armor. "In case they do get in. Put it on, it's copper armor." I first slide on the breastplate, the helmet, and the two boots. I expected it to be heavy, but was surprisingly light. Andrew equips his gear too.
Where the window was, I saw a strange white fluff trying to squeeze through the holes. It succeeds and falls down. "What's that?" I question. "Don't get near it, nothing is good at this time. The fuzzball uncurls, a bunny. "It's a bunny. Heh! What's it doing here." I blink for a second, and the next moment, all the white fur it shed, the bunny is now a blood red color. "Told you so!" Andrew yelled. I took out my axe, and whacked at the creature, embedding the axe into the wood. The bunny, now in half, seemingly releases coins. I pick them up, and right after that, the bunny evaporates. "How could this happen?" I say, sort of traumatized. "Terraria. Things get scary around here.."
Chapter 5 - Red Terror
Both me and Andrew start to hear another banging noise, this time from where the window was. I grab my sword this time, putting my axe back. The wood starts to sound weaker, and soon enough, gives way. The wood is scattered around the floor, and a strange multi-eyed red creature is hovering. "A demon eye?!" I yell. "No! That is a Drippler! I hate those things!" The Drippler was a floating red blob with eyes seemingly placed at random around it. It sort of screams, and then charges at me. I devise a small strategy. I let it come close, and then, I thrust my sword through the Drippler. It squeals in pain and releases coins before evaporating. "And there are more of these?" I say in a strangled voice. "Im afraid there is! I used all the wood in barricading the door, so we have an opening!" I'm suddenly filled with determination. "Maybe we should fight them." Andrew seems surprised. "You are a tyro, Tyro! You don't have much experience in fig-" Before he finishes, I dash out through the hole and land on a zombie. Andrew quickly follows. "This is a bad idea.." Andrew muttered to me. Waves of Zombies are walking toward me, some dressed like they went to a wedding. Not only that, red bunnies are hopping towards us. "This will be fun." I say, but I don't exactly say it firmly.
I charge at the zombies, holding my sword and slashing at them, cutting of their arms and heads. Some I stabbed in the heart, and then swinging it while its in there to seperate the body. The bunnies are hopping towards me, but I slice them as they come. I can only make a quick glance, but Andrew is slashing away too with his sword. I look up for a quick glance too, and the Blood Moon is directly above us, the monsters are at full strength, and seemingly as if they are coming from the moon, Demon Eyes appear and are diving down for both of us. I slash at both, but it left me in a tight spot. It was now that I realize the Demon Eyes ram with incredible power. One hit my head, knocking my helmet off and pushing me back with Andrew. I pick up my helmet and get side by side with Andrew. "Lets do this." We run towards our hordes take huge slashes at the zombies, slicing many into pieces that explode into a frenzy of coins. I take a leap to reach the Demon Eyes, performing some acrobatics while slicing them. The result was a coin rain.
The fight starting getting easier from there, but we are getting exhausted. The Blood Moon is now starting to see, and sun rays are peeking through the other side of the moon. The Demon Eyes' tendrils on their back are starting to spark and catch on fire, engulfing them in flame. Some retreat and some burn into ash. The zombies are suffering the same fate, though this time they have to escape. The horrifying red sky is turning into a blue hue once again. By now, many of the zombies are down into ashes, being swept by the wind. My eyes adjust to the sun as it rises and the moon, now becoming a regular orange, sinks beneath the horizon. The leftover bunnies transform into their cute selves, now able to roam around. Me and Andrew spot each other, walking in a way of extreme exhaustion. Panting, he says, "Not bad huh..", to which I mockingly say, "Yea.. Things went good for us in a Blood Moon." We both laugh ourselves to fainting.
James leaped from the platform he was on, as the skeletons threw bones trying to kill him. He reached for his grappling hook and grappled to the other side, and saw as the skeletons ended up falling and breaking themselves. He sat down and reached for his health potion, making sure he didn't die. He proceeded to hear a strange noise from below, which when he listened closer resembled a "Help!". James reached for his glowstick and threw it down there, and saw as at the bottom of the cave was what seemed to be a girl that was lost. "Are you hurt? How'd you get down here?"
"I was taken captive by some skeletons who threw me down here! I managed to find a health potion thought, but could you please save me before they come back?"
"Alright, just wait there!" James said as he grabbed his rope coil. Eventually, he reached the bottom and saw the lost girl staring at him strangely. Her skin appeared to change to green, as blood showed on her hands and her mouth. "You FOOL, you thought that I was some sort of stupid damsel in distress? HA! Never trust a nymph! And now, you look pretty good as dinner." The nymph leaped at James as he rolled into a wall, which knocked him unconscious. The nymph got closer to him, and he slowly was conscious enough to throw his golden broadsword at her. The nymph grabbed it from the air and threw it at him, and he barely managed to get out of the way before it cut his head off.
James checked his backpack hoping for some sort of weapon. He had a musket, but all his musket balls were used up. His wooden bow was broken so it couldn't do much, and he couldn't figure out how that staff would work. He stared at the nymph as she drew closer, with claws coming out of her hands. "SAY GOODNIGHT!" She yelled as she leaped at James, who quickly reached for a torch. The nymph seemed to flinch at the sight of the torch, allowing James to have enough time to grab his golden broadsword (as it was stuck in the wall and would of taken too much time to grab before). James leaped at the nymph before she could realize what was happening, and James stared at the coins where the Nymph once was. He found a recall potion and got back to his house, but had nightmares about the lost girl for the rest of his life.
The Infestation is being discontinued. This is being wrote instead.
I looked down into the large sinkhole in front of me. I reach in my bag for a glowstick. I find one that sticks to my hand. As I free my hand from it, I throw a glowstick down in it. it's bright, light blue light traveled down into its depths until I could not see it anymore. Then a splash echoed softly in the pit.
Working up my courage, I leapt into the pit, hoping either the water or the magical bottle at my side would save me. I hit the water with a loud splash, as I swim up to the rocky edge of the pool, I gasp for my breath. I notice a mysterious table with an eerie green light glowing in the center.
I slowly inch up to the table, shivering and drenched, and study it. On top of the table, there were several notes. The front read A Doctor's Notes, by Earl Young. Knowing that I had to read it, I pulled out my mirror and teleported home. Safe from The Infestation. I sat down and started to read.
Hello, as you probably can tell, I am Earl Young and I am a doctor. I am helping the Invention of New and Forgotten Entities and Species for Tomorrow. Weird name, but everyone else I work with seems to thinks that it is somehow clever.
Anyway, as head of the Inventing Species Department, I am proud to announce that I invented a new species of bacteria today with a few other scientists and doctors. We have named it Species Bronze. It's meant to suck water out of rocks so that we can help stop droughts and other thirst issues.
The problem is that we can't find a way to get the bacteria into the stone without drying up. The bacteria needs to mix with another species to be able to survive the elements. We've tried more than fifty different bacteria and none of them succeeded.
Tomorrow we will try more species to help our new bacteria, but today we will have to leave it alone and rest. I will put in a new entry tomorrow.
As said in my last entry, I needed a type of bacteria that could help our new species get into rocks. We found the right bacteria to do that. Yeast. Who would have thought? The same organism that makes bread rise helps our new species.
Anyway, our first attempt to bring the water out of a small piece of granite worked. Our secound attempt on some shale was the same. We are testing it out on a shard of marble right now, and the same results are to be expected.
Strangley though, it put an orange pigment into the bacteria turning them a bronze color. For some reason, as the bacteria died off, the piece of shale turned a light shade of orange. The granite nor marble have turned orange, which is confusing my fellow workers and I.
On a side note, I asked Dave, one of my workers, what was so clever about our company's name. He laughed at me and told me what it stood for. I feel like an idiot.
Well, I guess I'm making a story! This tells of the 'original' NPCs and as they venture throughout the world to seal the evils back into The Gate. But this is no in-and-out quick plan, they have many things to seal, and most of them are very strong. I'll start with the beginning, but next parts I will post later.
When The Gates had opened, destruction had ruptured throughout the world of Terraria. Many warriors were called, but none defeated the enemies that had sent the world into apocalypse. Though, a prophecy has been told for years.
"When the enemies of old, spring from the gates, the Chosen Ones will be called to attack the beasts and send them back into closure."
The group is the Chosen Ones, only picked from the best. And as time closes in, they have to prepare fast.
Terraria was always a safe and beautiful place, created by six ancient spirits. However, things do not always last. A lunatic wizard arrived in the world. He was disguised as an old man in need of shelter. He strode up to the spirits' great house, and then knocked on the door. One of the spirits, Necra, answered.
"Could you please let an old man seek shelter?" he asked. What the spirit of darkness was about to say would change the course of the world forever.
"No! Of course not!" she yelled before slamming the door in his face.
"You all will regret this!" he yelled and began a spell. He created people, monsters, and biomes with this spell. He created four monstrosities he dubbed bosses. Three would stand in the people's way, guarding the sacred, final one. This last monstrosity would be dubbed "The Wall of Flesh", and could only be summoned by an eternal sufferer. He trapped all of the spirits who were inside the grand house inside the wall. However, unbeknownst to the wizard, there was a little child watching. She was the seventh spirit. The spirit of purity. As she watched her fellow spirits get trapped in the wall, she ran into the forest and swore revenge. And she dubbed herself.... the Dryad.
Chapter 2!
Claire awoke, feeling exhausted. She saw someone standing over her. As her vision cleared, she saw tan hair and a sweet smile on his face.
"Ah! You're awake at last! My name is Alexander, and I am your guide to surviving in this world." He said.
"You care that much?" Claire asked lovingly.
"Uh..... It's kinda my job." he said.
"Oh." she mumbled sadly. As she stood up and looked around, she saw many trees and little slimy bouncing creatures. She dubbed them slimes shortly after. As she felt around in her backpack, she felt a blade and pulled it out. Out of the blue, something hurt her.
"That was Pinky! She's a rare slime that you really need to kill! She'll drop something good!" Alexander yelled as he ran after Pinky with his bow in hand. Claire ran up to Pinky, stabbing at it rapidly. Eventually, Pinky died and dropped a gold coin. Then the sun reached its highest point. "Oh no..." Alexander whispered.
Chapter 3!
"What is it?" Claire asked while tossing the coin into the air.
"The night is coming." Alexander said.
"Oh. Guessing that's a bad time to be outside, huh?" Claire said without a care.
"Bad time? BAD TIME?! It's a horrible time to be outside! Quickly now, gather wood and build two houses. One for you and me, and one for someone else." Alexander said before realising his mistake.
"Our house? Yay!!!!" Claire said excitedly and began chopping down every tree in sight.
"Uh oh... That might be a problem when...." Alexander trailed off. "When the time comes."
"Come on Alex! Come on in!" Claire yelled happily.
"Wha?! Done already?!" Alexander yelled as Claire dragged him into the beautifully decorated house.
"Hmm.... Hello? Hello?" said a voice from outside of the house.
"Thank goodness." Alexander whispered.
"What was that, Alex?" Claire said.
"Nothing, nothing!" Alexander replied while opening the door.
"Ah. Well, hello there. I am Joseph the merchant. I believe that there is a house for me as well?" the man, Joseph, said.
Chapter 4!
"Thank goodness you arrived!" Alexander exclaimed happily. Claire looked saddened by this.
"Ah, yes. Well, allow me to introduce myself to your wife..." Joseph said.
"Wife?!?!" Alexander yelled.
"Wife?" Claire said amazed. She began daydreaming happily.
"Uh... she's not your wife, is she?" Joseph asked.
"No. But don't tell her that." Alexander said sheepishly.
"Well miss...?" Joseph started.
"Claire." she said still daydreaming.
"Ah. Miss Claire.." Joseph started but was cut off.
"Don't call me that! Call me the future Mrs. Guide!" she said.
"I'll never get through to her, will I?" Joseph asked with a sigh.
"Nope." Alexander said with the same sigh.
"I'll just move in." Joseph said as he began unpacking his belongings in his room.
Chapter 5!
The sun finally went down. Alexander crawled into his bed and rolled over.... only to see Claire sleeping with a smile on her face. Alexander almost screamed. Then he sighed. "Sharing a room with her until.... the time.... is going to be a problem. She is obsessive." he whispered. Then he heard a shriek of joy from the next room. He ran into Joseph's room, only to find him holding an eye. "Joseph... don't... please...." Alexander started. Joseph then laughed and released one of the bosses. The Eye of Cthulhu floated to their location, ready for battle. Alexander screamed, which woke up Claire. She came running into the room, wooden armor on, sword drawn, ready to protect her guide. However, she stopped when she saw the giant eye. A spirit came out of Joseph. Not one of the ancient spirits, but instead the man who trapped them. The Lunatic Cultist.
"Well well well well well well. Aren't you two a sight for a sore eye. You do know which one I am referring to, right?" he said slyly. Alexander looked into the eyes of the man who sealed his fate, for he, the guide, was the eternal sufferer.
Chapter 6!
"What? Cat got your tongue?" the Lunatic Cultist taunted.
"You!" a mysterious figure in the darkness. "Today is the day I have my revenge on you!" The Dryad, Celestia, stepped out of the darkness, Thorn Chakrams in each hand.
"And just who in the world are you?" the Lunatic Cultist, who shall be now referred to as Zhie, asked.
"I... am the spirit you missed. The spirit who escaped the others' fate. The spirit of purity." Celestia said.
"What? Impossible! I... I need to think about this for a while. Before I go, one final touch to the EoC." Zhie said and casted a spell on the EoC. He then teleported away.
"Oh no you don't! Not again!" Celestia yelled as she ran in the direction in which he teleported, leaving the three townspeople with the boss. Alexander began shooting at it, and Claire stabbed it, but to no avail. As Joseph got up from where he'd been laying, he began to use magic. He levitated all of his throwing knives and then threw them all at the EoC. He then went into his Second form. He began charging very fast, hinting that all of Zhie's changes to a boss will be the expert mode one. Eventually, the EoC was poked out of existence. As the three people went to sleep, the Dryad was hunting Zhie down. And she wouldn't let him live.
Chapter 7!
Alexander was worried. Zhie had shown his face. That was bad. Claire would begin asking questions. Alexander would either A. Have to lie to her or B. Tell the truth and hear her horrible shrieking. 'Decisions, decisions...' Alexander thought. Claire then awoke and yelled, "Good morning Alex!" Alexander cringed upon hearing that nickname. Nicknames meant attachment. That was bad for him. The door opened, and in came that figure from last night. 'What did she call herself? The spirit of Purity?' Alexander thought. 'Actually, I prefer Celestia.' Celestia said inside his mind. "Aah!" Alexander yelled. Celestia shot him an annoyed glance. She preferred no one know about her powers. Alexander then said to Claire, "I need to take a walk..." He then walked out the door. Halfway to the jungle, a figure ambushed him. Who but Zhie. Zhie then said, "You absolute fool. You think you can hide your sacrifice from her? You cannot." Zhie then summoned an ice spell. "Die." He threw it at him. Alexander knew this was the end. The ice ball came slowly towards him, almost in a taunting way. It then darted towards him. Alexander braced himself for the oncoming attack. Then, suddenly, Claire stepped in front of him, fearful for his existence. "STOP!" She yelled and put her hands in front of her as if she was going to catch the ball for him. However, a barrier came out of her hands in fright.
The wind rustled the leaves, the slimes hopped back to their homes, and bolts of lightning struck a tree. I wasn’t expecting any visitors, but I was told who this would be. The player character, the one i’d devote my entire life to. I stood looking at the spot, and he appeared- well, half of him anyways. A arm and leg were missing, oh and did I mention a entire HALF OF HIM? I had to stay calm, i’d have to take his destinies into my own hands. I opened up the ancient prophecy that I was given before teleported here, and I read what it said. “The chosen one must pass various tests, he must go on to defeat the Moon Lord and save the universe.” I gulped, the Moon Lord was the most powerful being in the world. Could I really do it? I headed back to the old shack that I had built a year ago, cowering in to prevent the zombies from attacking me. But now, i’d have to attack them… I just couldn’t do it. Some people, just aren’t meant to be heros.
Chapter 1
I went to the work bench I had created, maybe this would be easier for me since I knew all the recipes. I mean, god only knows how I know all of them but I do. I decided to build a yoyo, a good zombie preventer and entertainment. Just then I realized that a spider from all this cobweb was crawling on my back, I grabbed a copper shortsword - the only proof of the hero ever being here - and stabbed at it. I felt pain, I cried out. I… blacked…. out.
I was alive! Oh thank the lords! The spider was nowhere to be seen and there was a yoyo right there on the work bench! I decided I may as well grab my old copper pickaxe from when I was younger, and mine some ore. Just then, some sort of earthquake hit. I ran to my house but it was too late, somehow the ground had opened up and eaten me. All I could see was black. I looked down to see the fiery depths of hell awaiting me. What had I done wrong? I grabbed onto a stone and crawled into a cave, I found a chest with some rope coil. I began throwing it up, and climbing back up the tunnel to hell. It wasn’t easy, but it worked. I got up and hid in my shack for the rest of the day. At this point, I decided I shouldn’t be doing this, i’d rather leave a failure then die. And then, the moon turned red.
The Blood Moon is rising…
Chapter 2
My door was broken, demon eyes rammed themselves through the walls and roof, causing bits of wood to get stuck in their eyes and kill them. They didn’t care, they kept doing it until eventually the roof fell. I dived but it was too late, the roof crushed my legs and I tried to crawl out. Just then, gunshots were heard. The corpses of zombies began to fall over me. “Aye mate, I can see you need a hand.” A mysterious man pushed the roof off of me somehow, and pulled me up. “Name’s Xavier, arms dealer, if you ever need a gun just ask me. Say, who are you?” I quickly introduced myself to him and told him everything that’s happened. “Well, we may as well rest for a bit now. I got a tent outside with 2 sleeping bags! I don’t think zombies can break through tents atleast...”
I heard a scream, I looked where Xavier was sleeping, he wasn’t there. There was a trail of blood stains leading outside of a tent and I saw a hole. I grabbed a handgun he dropped and rushed out of the tent, I nearly puked at the sight. He was dead, a zombie biting hard on him. I fired at the zombie, once it was finally dead I ran over to Xavier and tried to tend to his wounds. Maybe he could be revived or something, I looked in a bag he had in the tent. There was… some sort of heart-shaped crystal. I grabbed it and studied it, but my instincts told me to throw it at the ground. I threw it at a ground and my body felt pain, something was happening, something that wasn’t supposed to. I saw my life flashing before my eyes, how I fell in love with a beautiful lady but she did not return any of the love. How she suddenly died from some sort of creature. How my only friend abandoned me in my time of need when I was injured and needed help. The last thing I saw was a lady standing over me.
I would first like thank everyone for all the positivity towed the Story Board. We had no idea it would be so popular! Now that its running somewhat smoothly, I have decided to contribute to it. Some of you may know I started a story on my blog. This story is currently in hold, but all of those who really enjoyed it, do not worry! I will continue it at some point! Anyway, I decided to write a story that I've had in the making for awhile. This story is going to be formatted in parts, one part posted every day if I have time.
I hope you enjoy the NPC Chronicles!
No one really knows how it came. Some say it just appeared there. Some say that it is a manifestation of the evil that come into the world when man came into being. I heard the squirrels talk about it being created when a shadowy figure planted a mysteries seed. The trees whisper about feeling large vibrations in the earth when it came, like a meteorite. Whatever the case, it was there, and that's where our story begins...
A story based off of the sandbox video game Terraria. Hope you enjoy!
Me, unsure of where I should go and what I should be doing. I asked Andrew, as I was sure that he knows almost everything about how one survives.
"Hey...Uh, Andrew...Now what do I do?"
"You build a shelter. It's essential, unless you want us to get a zombie infection. Or unless you want us to die a horrible, horrible death by demon eyes."
"Oh...."
Me, I went over and started cutting down trees with the three copper tools, specifically the axe, I had found laying on the ground near the grass field I woke up on. I build a small shelter, but Andrew was very..nitpicky about it.
Andrew, he commented on my shelter.
"Um... This shelter. It doesn't have walls. I don't think the protection will be that good without the walls, you know? And also, where will we sleep?!"
"Do we need walls in this kind of world?", I responded.
"Well, yes! It's gonna be cold out in the night, you know?"
"Fine.", I said, and I put out some wooden walls. I and Andrew noticed however, that it got extremely dark in the house.
"We also need some torches, cause it'll be too dark and we'll probably hit the walls while we are trying to walk somewhere. Go kill some slimes for their extremely flammable gel. You can light it up later on."
"Alright."
I went and used my Copper Shortsword on a Blue Slime, however it proved to be extremely uneffective. I used my pickaxe, and it proved to be much better for me. I killed some slimes, and I got their gel.
I made a few torches and hanged them up on the wall.
"Much better. Finally.", sighed Andrew.
"Hey Andrew...It's sunset. Rather than wandering around outside far...don't you think we should probably wander outside near'? It'd be better than having the zombies surprise attack us without us being able to go back home."
"Alright..."
We had went inside our shelter as soon as the moon had shined, for the zombies' grunts could be heard and the demon eyes could be seen. We had slept on the floor, for it was the only sleeping place we could have.
The sun had shined with all its glory, and I woke up. Andrew didn't, however...So of course, I went exploring a little. Better let him relax.
I had found a little area with grassy bush 'walls'... It had many pots in it, and it had a big dirt ceiling. It was dark inside, so I held some of my leftover torches, and I had carried them inside. I broke some pots with my pickaxe, however eventually I found a chest. When I opened it, I was amazed by the contents, as it contained some magic brews and even a spear! Me, realizing that exploring this world can be very rewarding, I went on. I found another chest...and I had found a leafy wooden magic wand. I was skeptical if it could actually do magic... That is, until I used it.
It shot a shiny, sparkly and powerful little beam.
I couldn't use it again until after a while however...It had a cooldown.
Since I went pretty far, I used my recall potion and I found myself somewhere very, very close to the small shelter I built.
I opened the door and stepped foot inside, only to find a worried Andrew.
"Hey, Andrew, what's wrong?"
"He-Hey! I thought you died or something! Never go wandering around without telling me first, please. Gah.", he said.
"I'm sorry. But I got some very sweet loot from the chests! You've gotta see this!"
"Fine... Show."
I showed him the magic wand and the spear I had found lying in the chests.
He was surprised, considering I now had the power to fight all of the monsters that pop up outside.
He later had asked me to go venturing in a cave. I warned him not to open the door, however.
"But I have a very bad urge of doing it! It's like, my life!"
"No."
"Fine."
I went into the cave I found, and I brought a lot of torches I found inside the pots from earlier.
